We're looking for a Chief of Staff who will own how Almedia performs as a company. Not by building complex systems, but by making sure every team operates to the same high standard, knows what good looks like, and has a clear path to grow.
This is a hands on role for someone who thrives in the detail, earns trust quickly at senior level, and brings calm, consistent rigour to how we run.
What You'll Do

Set the standard: Establish consistent performance expectations across every team, so there's no ambiguity about what good looks like at Almedia

Build growth paths: Work with department leads to define clear progression frameworks so people know how to develop and what they're working towards

Reinforce culture: Translate our values into day-to-day operating norms, rituals, and behaviours that stick

Drive accountability: Partner with the SLT to ensure performance is reviewed regularly, feedback lands well, and performance is addressed early

Own the reward link: Ensure bonus, equity, and recognition structures reflect and reinforce performance outcomes
What You'll Bring

Experience operating at C level proximity in a high-growth startup (100–300 people)

A track record of raising standards across teams, not just within one function

Strong people instincts, you build trust fast and can challenge senior stakeholders without creating friction

Hands-on experience with performance frameworks, levelling, or compensation design

Bonus: background in elite environments (professional sports, military, top-tier consulting) where high standards are just the baseline
