Market Development Representative (m/w/d)

Then join our team as a Senior Market Development Representative (m/f/d) and play a key role in driving our growth in target market/region/industry.

What you can expect:

  • You will develop and shape our market development strategy for defined target segments.
  • You will identify and prioritize target accounts, map buying centers, and engage the relevant decision-makers.
  • You will execute highly targeted outbound campaigns via phone, email, and social selling, positioning our solutions at the management level.
  • You will qualify opportunities against clear criteria and hand them over seamlessly to our Account Executives.
  • You will collaborate closely with Marketing to create and optimize targeted campaigns and content formats.
  • You will analyze market trends and competitor activity, translating insights into concrete recommendations for Sales and our go-to-market approach.
  • You will support the coaching and onboarding of junior MDR/SDR colleagues.
  • You will use Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and marketing automation/ABM tools on a daily basis to drive your account and lead strategy.
  • You will segment target accounts, build smart outreach sequences, and orchestrate touchpoints across multiple channels, including email, social, phone, and events.
  • You will leverage profiling and intent data to engage decision-makers with the right message at the right time.

What were looking for:

  • Several years of experience in B2B sales, sales development, market development, or business development — ideally in industry.
  • A proven track record in generating and developing complex B2B opportunities.
  • Confidence and credibility when engaging with C-level stakeholders and senior functional leaders.
  • Strong command of CRM systems and sales tools, with the ability to actively use data to manage and optimize your activities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, combined with a structured, goal-oriented working style.
  • Fluent German and good English skills.
  • Strong practical experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and ideally with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot, as well as account-based marketing approaches.
  • Solid experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and digital prospecting methods.
  • You thrive in a digital sales environment, work confidently with playbooks, sequences, and KPIs, and continuously refine your approach.
