These are the tasks we trust in you:

Assist in setting up and maintaining fermentation and cell culture systems.
Prepare media, buffers, and reagents according to established protocols.
Support protein expression workflows in microbial and/or mammalian cells.
Perform routine protein purification using columns (e.g., affinity, SEC).
Run basic analytical procedures such as SDS-PAGE, spectrophotometry, and possibly ELISA.
Ensure accurate documentation of lab activities and results.
Maintain lab equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.

To grow in this position, it requires the following:

Completed training as a Biological Laboratory Technician, BTA, MTA, or equivalent (e.g., Bachelor in Biotechnology or Life Sciences).
Practical experience in a laboratory environment, ideally in protein biochemistry or cell culture.
Familiarity with basic lab techniques: pipetting, centrifugation, sterile handling, buffer preparation, etc.
A careful, reliable, and detail-oriented working style.
Ability to follow instructions and protocols independently.
Strong team spirit and motivation to support daily lab operations.

You are rooted in 3130 Herzogenburg (AT).
We appreciate your expertise for 38.5 hours/week, full-time, permanent contract.
This position is available immediately however, we are happy to consider your notice period or your desired start date.
Based on your professional experience and your qualification, we offer you an attractive total compensation package starting at € 40.000,- gross annual base salary, plus attractive benefits.
