Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your role

Join our European headquarters of Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG (BPAG) in Frankfurt am Main as we expand our dynamic European and German Project Team. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) to help drive our strategic and regulatory initiatives.

BPAG is a leading financial institution with a strong presence across Europe, operating branches in Luxembourg, Spain, Monaco, France, Italy and the UK. Your team

  • Design and implement strategies and new regulations that are not only aligned with the organization’s objectives but also leverage your in-depth banking expertise to ensure relevance and impact in a financial services context.
  • Lead and manage multiple complex operational projects simultaneously, applying your strong banking knowledge to proactively identify challenges, question assumptions and drive projects toward successful, value-added outcomes.
  • Engage and challenge subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders at all levels including executives, management, team members and partners by bringing a critical, informed perspective that enhances project quality and effectiveness.
  • Allocate and manage resources, budgets and personnel with a keen understanding of banking operations, ensuring that project execution is both efficient and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks using your comprehensive knowledge of banking processes and regulations, ensuring project continuity and resilience in a dynamic environment.
  • Monitor project performance and analyze key metrics, using your sector expertise to interpret results, anticipate issues and make informed adjustments that keep projects on track and aligned with business goals.

Your profile

  • University degree (or equivalent higher education) in Business, Finance, or a related field; ideally complemented by an internationally recognized certification in Program and/or Project Management.
  • Minimum of five years’ senior-level experience leading strategic, regulatory or change implementation projects within a top-tier financial institution or consulting firm.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end banking processes, from front- to back-office operations.
  • Strong IT proficiency, with the ability to leverage technology in project delivery.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German and French is an advantage.
  • Excellent conflict management and resolution abilities, paired with outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
