As a Senior NVH Engineer Wind Turbines (m/f/d), you contribute to the acoustic performance and vibration optimization of modern wind turbine systems. You work in an interdisciplinary engineering environment to strengthen internal capabilities in NVH optimization. Your focus is on reducing noise and vibrations across the entire drivetrain.

YOUR TASKS

• You analyze noise emissions from wind turbines using simulation tools and acoustic measurement techniques as a Senior NVH Engineer Wind Turbines
• You develop and implement design modifications to reduce aerodynamic and mechanical noise as well as tonal behavior
• You collaborate closely with aerodynamics, structural engineering, and control systems to integrate NVH optimization measures
• You support field measurements and validation testing to assess and verify acoustic performance
• You stay updated on international standards and regulations, particularly IEC 61400 and acoustic compliance requirements
• You support certification processes and coordinate with external stakeholders regarding acoustic topics
• You create technical documentation and provide engineering guidance for internal and external interfaces

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience (minimum 5+ years) in NVH analysis and optimization, preferably in the wind energy sector
• Strong knowledge of aeroacoustics, vibration analysis, and sound propagation
• Experience with multi-body simulation software such as ANSYS, ALASKA, SimPack, or similar tools
• Familiarity with relevant standards such as IEC 61400 and acoustic regulatory frameworks
• Experience with acoustic measurement equipment and data analysis, ideally including environmental impact assessments
• Very good English skills; German is a plus, combined with strong communication and teamwork abilities
