The DACH Legal team comprises five legal colleagues, all based in Eschborn. You will serve as a trusted legal advisor to the Nexi DACH business unit, which provides cutting-edge payment solutions to stores, retailers, webshops and other merchants across the DACH region.

In this role, you will provide legal support to group units by drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on contract-related matters and handling disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating individual contracts, addenda and other pre-contractual documents with customers and external service providers, both domestically and internationally
• Creating, continuously reviewing and optimizing standard contracts and general terms and conditions for domestic and international use
• Provision of legal advice to business units in day-to-day operations and project work
• Support in the implementation of regulatory requirements
• Management of legal correspondence to prevent potential disputes

Qualifications :

Professional qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer (Volljurist) or business lawyer (Wirtschaftsjurist) with initial experience at a law firm and/or in an in-house legal department
• Strong communicative competencies and negotiation skills
• Experience with drafting and negotiating contracts
• Sound knowledge of German and international contract, commercial and general civil law
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Fluent German language skills (essential for the DACH region)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Experience in the banking or financial services sector, as well as familiarity with international card scheme regulations, is advantageous but not required

• Possesses the ability to analyze legal and regulatory matters with precision, develop practical concepts and solutions, and present them convincingly
