Join Kalmar, a global leader in industrial solutions, and become the financial backbone of our German operations. In this role, you will oversee a €100M revenue market and support over 200 employees. What are your key responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Provide actionable insights to Local and Regional management to support decision-making and the implementation of Kalmar’s strategy.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage management accounting, monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash control for the German market.

  • Data & Automation: Design and maintain data analytics solutions (Power BI/Tableau) and automate recurring reporting to focus on performance drivers and corrective actions.

  • Matrix Collaboration: Work closely with offshore Business Services (KBS) and ensure all accounting activities are accurate and aligned with global deadlines.

  • Process Improvement: Implement Kalmar policies and tools in Germany, while continuously looking for ways to optimize current financial workflows.

What you bring to the role:

  • Experience: 7+ years in Finance/Business Control, ideally within the industrial, machinery, or consulting sectors.

  • Education: University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional accounting qualifications are highly valued.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in German (C1/C2) and English (C1/C2) is mandatory.

  • Technical Mastery: Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, SAP, and Hyperion (HFM).

  • Analytical Edge: Experience with Power BI, dashboard creation, and a strong interest in AI tools for finance.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate a complex matrix organization.
