Gerhard Schubert GmbH is a globally leading family-owned company developing innovative packaging solutions. Together with Schubert North America, we support modern international IT systems and are looking to strengthen our team in the USA.
Your responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, and management of local hardware and software
- Maintenance and operation of local IT infrastructure
- First- and second-level support for USA and Canadian subsidiary
- Collaboration on international IT projects
- Analysis and resolution of technical issues within the team
- IT onboarding for new employees
- Travel to German headquarters and Schubert subsidiaries as needed
Your profile:
- IT training or comparable qualification
- Experience in IT support
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, server systems, Active Directory, DNS, LAN/WAN, firewall
- Ideally experience with VMware, OpenShift, Linux, Citrix, SQL, or Oracle
- Service-oriented and friendly attitude
- Fluent English skills; German language skills are an advantage
- Valid US work authorization and valid passport required
