Gerhard Schubert GmbH is a globally leading family-owned company developing innovative packaging solutions. Together with Schubert North America, we support modern international IT systems and are looking to strengthen our team in the USA.

Your responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and management of local hardware and software
  • Maintenance and operation of local IT infrastructure
  • First- and second-level support for USA and Canadian subsidiary
  • Collaboration on international IT projects
  • Analysis and resolution of technical issues within the team
  • IT onboarding for new employees
  • Travel to German headquarters and Schubert subsidiaries as needed

Your profile:

  • IT training or comparable qualification
  • Experience in IT support
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, server systems, Active Directory, DNS, LAN/WAN, firewall
  • Ideally experience with VMware, OpenShift, Linux, Citrix, SQL, or Oracle
  • Service-oriented and friendly attitude
  • Fluent English skills; German language skills are an advantage
  • Valid US work authorization and valid passport required
