We are seeking an experienced Cleanroom Architect / Cleanroom Designer to be responsible for the planning, conceptualization, and detailed design of cleanroom facilities for high‑tech industries. You will lead the cleanroom envelope discipline and ensure that architectural, functional, and regulatory requirements translate into fully integrated, highly efficient controlled environments.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in GMP pharma or semiconductor fabs, where strict cleanliness, material compatibility, environmental zoning, and layout optimization are critical.


Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Design and development of cleanroom layouts, zoning concepts, pressure cascades, material/personnel flows, and airlock solutions based on customer and process requirements
  • Creation of architectural drawings, elevations, sections, technical details, and material take-offs for cleanroom envelope systems
  • Coordination of multidisciplinary interfaces with HVAC, electrical, controls, process engineering, and installation teams to ensure integrated project execution
  • Selection and specification of cleanroom construction systems and materials, including technical support for supplier evaluation and procurement activities
  • Management of technical coordination with customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders throughout all project phases
  • Support of construction, qualification, commissioning, and handover activities, including site inspections, documentation, and resolution of technical challenges during project execution

Show your expertise

  • Completed studies in Architecture, Civil/Industrial Design, Building Engineering, or related field.
  • Several years of experience in the design of cleanrooms for GMP, semiconductor, or battery production facilities
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (Revit or similar)
  • Ability to interpret mechanical/HVAC drawings and ensure envelope compatibility
  • Knowledge of cleanroom construction methods, prefabricated panel systems, and installation practices
  • Experience with turnkey cleanroom or high-tech facility projects is a plus
