Senior Financial Advisor AIFA (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and ensure high-quality decision papers and financial analyses for investment projects such as M&A, greenfield developments, acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, and financing
  • Develop project models in line with AIFA best practices and ensure compliance with all relevant investment guidelines
  • Workstream lead responsibility on live transactions; mentoring of junior analysts
  • Calculate and assess the financial statement impacts (net debt, COI, ROCE, net income, capital gain on disposal) of investment decisions
  • Conduct annual impairment testing as well as ad-hoc cross-functional analyses; negotiate with stakeholders (banks, advisors, financial institutions, investment funds, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development, Corporate Finance, Treasury, and Insurance, as well as with the centers of expertise (IFRS, Tax, and Legal)

Your Profile:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a comparable field
  • 6 to 8+ years of experience in Project Finance, M&A, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, private equity, or a corporate investment environment—ideally in power or infrastructure.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience maintaining Excel‑based financial models
  • Analytical mindset and a structured way of working
  • Fluent English skills (C1 level or higher); German language skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Paris or Brussels
