Senior Finance Manager (m/f/d)

on a full-time basis

Your profile:

• Completed degree in finance, business administration or a comparable qualification, such as a certified accountant (e.g. Bilanzbuchhalter) or auditor
• Several years (minimum 5 years) of relevant professional experience in accounting, finance, controlling and cash management within a medium-sized or large organisation
• Proven experience in an international business environment, particularly within shared service structures and matrix organisations
• Strong expertise in cash flow management and financial planning, combined with a proven track record in process optimisation and change initiatives
• In-depth knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations, as well as practical experience working with tax authorities
• Advanced SAP expertise with a focus on FI and CO (expert level)
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Strong communication skills combined with a structured, self-driven and flexible working style in a dynamic and complex environment

Your responsibilities:

• Leadership of Controlling Team: Functional and disciplinary leadership of the Controlling team of EG Group in Germany
• Interface Shared Services & Organisation: Key interface to the UK-based shared service teams as well as the German organisation, ensuring efficient, accurate and timely accounting and reporting processes
• Process & Systems Optimisation: Analysis and resolution of operational accounting topics as well as continuous development and implementation of processes, systems and structures
• Monthly & Annual Closing: Responsibility for monthly and annual closing activities, particularly in the context of new acquisitions, and ensuring the proper preparation of statutory financial statements
• Audits & Tax Collaboration: Coordination of annual audits and collaboration with external partners, particularly in the tax environment and with authorities
• Analysis & Budget Planning: Perfomance of ad hoc analyses and active support of budgeting and planning processes
• Reporting Development: Ongoing development of financial and management reporting processes to enhance the financial steering of the German entities
• M&A & Integration: Support in the analysis of potential acquisitions as well as the integration of new entities into existing structures and processes
