Business Development Manager
EDA Solutions (Synopsys)
To strengthen our Solution Adoption and Expansion team, we are looking for a business development manager with a passion for chip design. Innovative approaches, team spirit, and enthusiasm for digital engineering are at the core of CADFEM and are reflected across all areas of our work.
Following the acquisition of Ansys by Synopsys, CADFEM aims to strategically expand its long-standing, Ansys-focused business scope into Synopsys’ core area of excellence: EDA software.
Your responsibilities
- Own and drive the business development strategy for Synopsys EDA solutions within CADFEM
- Focus on use cases in FPGA-based systems, as well as analog and photonic design domains
- Identify and develop new opportunities as well as support the sales cycle
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, connecting Synopsys technologies to their challenges and business priorities
- Drive adoption and expansion of Synopsys EDA solutions within customer design environments
- Collaborate closely with application engineers, solution specialists, sales teams, and Synopsys counterparts to ensure consistent positioning and customer success
Your profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a comparable technical field
- Broad understanding of semiconductor design flows and EDA domains — e.g., FPGA, RTL and verification, synthesis, implementation, analog/custom, or photonics
- Strong hands-on technical background in one or more of these areas, particularly digital design; analog or photonics experience is a plus
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value, articulating clear value propositions to both engineering and executive stakeholders
- Strong sales orientation, paired with proactivity and credibility in technical discussions
- Willingness to travel within the Central Europe region
- Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
