BYD Automotive GmbH is a subsidiary of BYD in Germany, which is an important part of BYD's international business in response to German customers and radiating the European market. Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily operation of after-sales battery warehousing, responsible for the whole process management of after-sales battery receiving, storage, storage, picking, output, and return receipt, strict batch management, serial number traceability, daily management; organize daily inventory, cyclical inventory, difference analysis and rectification, ensure the consistency of accounts and facts.

  • Return and exchange and fault battery management, responsible for fault battery receiving, registration, preliminary detection, classification (repairable / to be scrapped / to be returned to the factory); coordinate with the repair center and technical department to complete the turnover, allocation and return repair of the fault battery; track the RMA process to ensure the completeness and traceability of the return and exchange documents and system records.

  • Safety and Dangerous Goods Compliance (German Core Requirements): Strictly comply with German BGB, StVG, DGUV, IFCO, VDE and EU ADR, new battery regulations, implement lithium battery storage safety, be responsible for fire, emergency, thermal runaway emergency plans, regularly organize safety drills.

  • Recycling of old batteries and compliance with environmental protection: manage the registration, temporary storage, packing, and compliance transfer of old and scrapped batteries, and ensure that the recycling chain can be traced and audited according to the official recognized recycling institutions in Germany.

  • Team and on-site management: Manage local warehouse management, forklift operators, and after-sales logistics support staff: scheduling, training, performance appraisal, on-site 5S/7S management; ensure that operations comply with German labor laws, working hours regulations, and safety protection requirements.

  • System and data management: Output German/English bilingual operation reports: inventory, turnover, timeliness, cost, safety; monitor obsolete spare parts, expired/outdated batteries, promote cleaning and disposal

  • Internal and external coordination: coordination with headquarters after-sales, quality, supply chain, customs, handling cross-regional allocation; dealing with German official inspection (environmental protection, fire, labor, dangerous goods supervision)

  • Cost and process optimization: Control warehousing, packaging, logistics, and labor costs; continuously optimize the turnover efficiency of after-sales spare parts to reduce inventory holding costs; optimize the return and exchange process to reduce secondary damage and operational risks.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
  • More than 3 years of experience in after-sales warehousing/spare parts logistics management, with a preference for battery power/automotive industry .

  • Familiar with German dangerous goods regulations, battery recycling regulations, labor and environmental protection requirements.

  • Skilled in using WMS/ERP systems and has strong data analysis capabilities.

  • Language: fluent in German, English, Chinese.

  • Have a sense of security, crisis management ability, and cross-cultural communication ability.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with DGUV hazardous materials storage, forklift management, and firefighting qualifications.
