RESPONSIBILITIES:

Systematically further develops existing business fields and opens up new ones.

Cooperates actively in the strategy development process.

Creates forecasts of technical as well as market and application trends and developments in the business models of our customers and validates them with customers.

Works closely with internal (R&D, Application Teams, Production, Sales) and external consumers and specialists and uses their expertise to chart and evaluate technical as well as market and application trends on an ongoing basis.

Ensures that the company reacts appropriately and pro-actively to evolving markets and changing underlying economic conditions.

Uses international networks (research, user organisations, etc.) and ensures that the company is represented in the relevant networks.

Creates analytical principles for development corresponding business models and develops these using suitable methods and tools.

Oversees and supports the determination of customer added value and functional product definitions in business cases together with the Applied Marketing and Design team as well as Application and Portfolio Management.

Identifies, selects and coordinates collaboration with strategic cooperation partners in the context of current product development projects as part of the project team.

Acts as a strategic interface between customers, consumers and competitors.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Engineering (Fluidics, Thermal Management, Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent; MBA is a plus

Minimum of 7 years international experience in business development, key account management, or project leadership in data center cooling, HVAC, or fluidics

Proven track record of delivering liquid cooling projects (direct-to-chip, immersion, CDU skids)

Established global network within the data center ecosystem and ability to translate technical concepts into business value for executives

Strong cross-cultural leadership skills; fluent English required (German/other languages a plus); willingness to travel globally (40–50%)
