Personnel Security Specialist

The Opportunity:

Process and maintain company and government inspectable records and procedures for employees to obtain and maintain government security clearances or positions of trust. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) security programs, including administering security programs such as physical, personnel, and information

• 2+ years of experience with personnel security, including DISS, EQIP, Scattered Castles, clearance processing, background investigations physical security such as closed areas and sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs), Automated Information System security, and SETA

• Knowledge of IC and DoD regulations for collateral and SCIF management

• Ability to lead classification material handling, marking of classified material, and security clearance validation

• Ability to work on a team

• Active passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
