As the Director of Sales, you will provide strategic guidance and direction for the sales organization, drive sales strategies, and achieve revenue targets. (Germany / Austria / Switzerland)

This is a critical senior leadership role within Honeywell’s Fire business, responsible for driving commercial performance across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH).


The Sales Director – DACH (Fire) will lead one of the most strategically important and profitable regions, operating at Managing Director/Geschäftsführer level and combining sales leadership with broader business and site responsibilities.

In this role, you will shape regional strategy, lead a mature sales organization, and act as a key interface to customers, industry stakeholders, and internal leadership.

  • Provide overall sales leadership for the Fire business across the DACH region
  • Be accountable for a large, highly profitable business with significant revenue impact
  • Lead and develop a senior sales organization, including direct and indirect leadership
  • Act as site leader for the Ratingen location, including customer experience, training, and development interface
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Drive strategic initiatives, market positioning, and long-term growth plans
  • Ensure robust forecasting, pipeline management, and operational discipline
  • Partner closely with European and global leadership in a highly matrixed environment
  • Develop talent, succession plans, and a strong performance culture

You Must Have

  • Extensive senior commercial leadership experience in Fire, Building Automation, or related industries
  • Proven track record leading large, profitable businesses
  • Strong executive-level customer and industry network across the DACH region
  • Experience operating at MD / General Manager level or equivalent
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution
  • Deep knowledge of the DACH market and regulatory landscape
  • Strong executive presence and influencing skills
  • Experience leading complex organizations through change
  • Collaborative leadership approach with strong people-development focus
