Doppelmayr Cable Car (DCCCA1, Inc.) plans, builds and operates custom made Automated People Mover Systems on the international market, mainly at airports and in cities. With its reliable Cable Liner® and comprehensive service expertise, we enable the passengers of our systems to reach their destination safely and on time.

Doppelmayr Cable Car (DCCCA1, Inc.) is looking for an experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager for the BART Oakland Airport Connector in Oakland, CA.

Your tasks

• Plans, directs, manages and oversees the operation and maintenance of the system
• Oversee operational and maintenance goals, status, policies and procedures and report to the HQs
• Become point of contact for our clients and our customer
• Manage the local operational team and ensure personnel is adequately skilled
• Enforce application of Health & Safety measures; monitor and enforce safety rules
• Leads financial reporting to the Client and within the internal organization
• Establish site processes in accordance with Group-wide standards and regulations and contribute to global and local process improvement
• Communication between the project global team in Austria and the site team

Your profile

• Higher education / diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar
• Preferred 3 years of project or related management experience, and technical experience with operations and maintenance of transit systems or similar field
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
• Good analytical skills as well as hands on mentality for problem resolution, identifying alternative solutions and implementing solutions
• High level of motivation and engagement and the ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments
• Right to Work in the USA is a plus

• Work Location & employment: in-office position in Oakland, CA 94621
• Full-time position: typically 40-50 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• This is a salary position, evening and weekend work may be required based on operational needs
• The successful candidate must be able to reliably commute to the office to report to work
