Engineer (f/m/x) Homologation Management Battery Systems
in Finland or Germany (Salo, Turku, Uusikaupunki, Munich, Bad Friedrichshall)

As a member of our Battery Systems Engineering Department, you’ll develop the battery systems of the future. You can look forward to a steep learning curve, a state-of-the-art test environment and fascinating projects.

 

Here’s where you’ll make an impact

  • You are responsible for the planning and implementation of the homologation process and the certification of our battery systems. As the main contact person, you will communicate with the relevant authorities in all phases of our development projects.
  • From early stages of concept development,  you`ll create and adjust the roadmap regarding the requirements for approval and certification of battery systems.
  • You will create, collect and maintain all relevant documents required for the homologation process, such as drawings, test reports and product data. Following the respective milestones, you will submit these to the authorities and actively monitor the approval process.
  • For platform and Tier 1 projects, establish general internal processes required for the approval and certification process in various markets such as China, EU, Korea, USA, etc.
  • Last but not least, you will take part in design reviews and approval meetings and ensure that the product meets the necessary approval and certification requirements.

This is your basic equipment

  • University degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, physics or similar
  • First experience (2+ years) in homologation procedures and communication with the authorities for li-ion battery systems in relation to automotive customers
  • Experience in dealing with internal stakeholders and authorities on a technical level to discuss and negotiate. Experience with battery testing is a plus
  • Experience with battery system regulations for various markets as well as good understanding and handling of norms and standards. Affinity for reading and understanding homologation-relevant documents such as ECE-R100, GB-T, KMVSS.
